Mountain Craft Builders was founded in 1998 by owner Bill Tuck.

Bill came to the High Country in the late eighties to attend college. Graduating Appalachian State University with a degree in Industrial Technology, his love for the mountains kept him here.  During the summer months, Bill worked as a carpenter for several different construction companies in the area.  His passion for building quality homes and projects ultimately led him to start his own business.

Over the years, the company has grown to include our own hardworking crew members and lasting relationships with many local subcontractors. 

Today, Mountain Craft Builders Inc continues to build custom homes and remodels. We are so glad to call this beautiful area home and have the opportunity to make your time here special.
